The pre school children will visit Taree Community Health Centre during the month of June to participate in the "Get It Right For School" program. The children will be screened for vision, hearing and speech issues to enable any support needed to be in place before beginning Kindergarten in 2012.

The first visit on June 7th will see the preschoolers being filmed as part of the NSW Nurses Association Film Festival. The film may also be used as promotional material for the Get It Right For School program.

Preschool focuses on play-based activities and lays the foundation for future learning. Preschool provides an educational program for children in the year before starting school that supports the development of early language, literacy, numeracy and social skills.
